We want you to be satisfied with your order. If something isn’t right, this policy explains when returns are accepted and how refunds are handled.
1) Return Window
You may request a return within:

30 days from the date your order is delivered.
Requests made after 30 days may be refused.
2) Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, items must be:

Unused

Unworn (if applicable)

In original condition

In original packaging (if available)

Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number / receipt)
If the item shows signs of use, damage caused by the customer, or is missing major parts/accessories, we may deny the return or issue a partial refund depending on the situation.
3) Non-Returnable Items
Returns are not accepted for:

Final sale / clearance items (if clearly marked as final sale)

Gift cards

Any item that is used, altered, or damaged after delivery due to customer handling

Items returned without authorization (see Section 5)
(If you sell personalized/custom items later, you should add: “custom/personalized items are non-returnable except defective.”)
4) Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective:

A short description of the issue

Clear photos of the item and packaging (if damaged)

We may offer:

A replacement (if available), or
-
A refund, depending on the case.
5) How to Start a Return (Return Authorization)
To request a return, email support@amyembery.us with:

Order number

Item(s) you want to return

Reason for return (quick explanation is enough)

Photo evidence (only required for damaged/defective claims)
If approved, we will send return instructions.
Do not send returns without approval. Unapproved returns may be delayed, rejected, or lost in the void of human logistics.
6) Return Shipping Costs

Change-of-mind returns: customer pays return shipping.

Defective/damaged or incorrect item: we cover return shipping or provide a prepaid label when applicable.
7) Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (PayPal or Stripe/card).

Refund processing time:

Within 5 business days after inspection/approval (we do our part)

Your bank/PayPal may take additional time to post it (they do their thing)

Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective, damaged on arrival).
8) Exchanges
If you want an exchange:

Request it by email the same way as a return.

Exchanges depend on inventory availability.

If an exchange isn’t available, we’ll refund you (if eligible) after the returned item is received and approved.
9) Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order:
